What is Enchant?

Enchant at Las Vegas Ballpark is back for 2023 and boasts a tantalizing 4 million holiday lights display at the Las Vegas Ballpark in Summerlin, NV. The entire field and upper stands are filled with artisan shops, sculptures, and other magical light displays.

Not only that, but you can even go ice skating or meet with Santa and his Elves. Enchant has you covered whether you are going with the kids or on a romantic date for two. We may be living in the middle of the desert, but this ballpark transformation will make it feel like you just stepped into a winter wonderland.

Santa’s Magic Timepiece

This year, you can explore Santa’s Magic Timepiece on foot by searching for eight missing star fragments hidden throughout a full-size light maze spanning 10 acres of the Las Vegas Ballpark. They change the maze game each year. Last year, we completed a quest to find eight full-size toys/ornaments that were hidden by a Mischievous Elf and were hidden throughout the maze. My girls were given a little passport that they filled with stamps once they found each ornament. There was no extra cost to participate, and this was easily my girl’s favorite part of the Enchant experience. We explored and saw all the lights with purpose and wonder.

The Village

Head on over to The Village on the upper deck of the ballpark to enjoy tasty seasonal treats or purchase holiday gifts from artisan vendors and local boutiques. Sadly, I was so busy drinking gourmet hot chocolate and eating homemade fudge that I forgot to take pictures.

Ice Skating

Glide through a dazzling forest of lights on a sizeable winding ice skating trail. Skates are provided, but there is an additional fee if you want to participate. We watched people skate for a while, but it was getting a little late for my girls. It looked like an excellent place for older kids, teens, and couples.

Travel Town Tip: Purchase your skate ad-on before you checkout with your general admission tickets online. It makes the process much easier once you get there and ensures you get a spot. Also, remember they do not have skate aids/assists, so if you have little ones who are not strong skaters, you will need to hold their hands and assist them.

Santa’s Landing

Visit Santa’s Landing to meet with Santa and get your professional photo taken. You can visit with Santa’s Elves while in line and share your holiday wish list.

Little Elves Play Place

The Little Elves Play Place is just for your little ones (ages 0-7). It’s nice to have a dedicated area full of magical fun where the little ones can get their wiggles out and enjoy a safe and interactive holiday atmosphere. This is great if you have toddlers. How much time does it take to visit?

Plan on at least 1.5 – 2 hours. It just depends on what you are interested in doing while you are there. Getting through the light maze alone with little kids took us over an hour. We stopped for some hot chocolate and ate some cotton candy along the way. We also played on the light-up checkerboard for another 20 minutes. If you plan to shop and ice skate, it could take another 1-2 more hours. You can definitely make an entire evening out of it.

Honestly, you can’t beat kicking off the holiday season after Thanksgiving or the Holiday Break leading up to Christmas, but this is when it’s the busiest. If you visit after Christmas and before New Year’s, there is a chance you can snag some discounted tickets and won’t have to deal with the larger crowds. We went during this time last year, which was still so special.
