Best Ice Cream & Frozen Custard in Las Vegas

Las Vegas is famous for many things. Whether you are a local or visiting, you might want to know the hottest spots to get the best Ice Cream and Frozen Custard in town. Come with me while I reveal the Best Ice Cream and Frozen Custard in Las Vegas.

Luv It Frozen Custard:

A local favorite and best of Las Vegas since 1973. Head over to Luv It Frozen Custard for some 4th generation family-owned and operated frozen custard goodness. They still use the same recipe! To get there, you must head to the Eastside downtown near the Stratosphere, but it is worth the drive. Their most popular sundaes are listed right on the sign above the window where you order. Order yourself a Scotch Jimmie Treat or a Sprinkle Special, then take it back to your car to enjoy!

Reviews: “A solid, consistent product that has stood the test of time. I’ve been coming here for 11+ years. Love the rotational flavors as well as the permanent flavors like Vanilla. The Caramel Praline Sundae is one of my favorites, as is a Heavy Peanut Butter Shake.” – Google

Nielsen’s Frozen Custard:

Steve Nielsen’s famous frozen custard started in 1981 and is still being made fresh daily. With multiple locations in town, head on over to Nielsen’s Frozen Custard and grab yourself a concrete, something on the menu they are best known for. Pick your flavor, and then select your favorite mix-ins.

Service was quick, manager was super nice. Big portion sizes & already craving it again. Also, a ton of flavor options & add in’s. Def recommend looking at the menu before going to get an idea. Can’t wait to try more flavors!” – Google

Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream:

Handel’s recipe dates to 1945. There are tons of flavors, and they are packed with yummy goodness. My recommendation is to get the 4-scoop sampler. You will get to try various flavors that will keep you returning for more. The original Las Vegas Handel’s is on Hualapai and West Tropicana, but there are not multiple locations valley-wide.

CJ’s Italian Ice & Custard:

CJ’s has a wide variety of frozen sweet treats. From Italian ice to outside-the-box ice cream concoctions, this place will surely have something for everyone. When my kids were little, I would take them to CJ’s after every soccer game at the original Durango location. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and have since expanded to 3 more locations around town.
